
Terry Bolz, President and Chief Executive Officer
Terry joined Unity in 2005 as President and CEO. He brings over 20 years of insurance experience in workers’ compensation managed care, integrated disability management, HMO, PPO and employee benefits.
Terry is the liaison between UW Health and Unity; he is responsible for regional strategic planning and providing overall leadership at Unity.
Mary Pak MD, Medical Director
Mary has been Unity’s Medical Director since 2007. She has a medical degree from Hahnemann University and served a residency in Internal Medicine from Georgetown University. She has additional training in Anesthesiology from Johns Hopkins University.
As Medical Director, Mary is responsible for quality and utilization management, accreditation, credentialing, professional relations with the provider community and the strategic direction of Unity’s clinical programs.
In addition to her role at Unity, Mary is a practicing hospitalist at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and a Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Kurt Popp, Vice President of Sales
Kurt came to Unity in 2007. He brings many years of regional and national sales experience from working with both insurance carriers and insurance brokers. His experience includes sales of major accounts and recruiting, training and managing sales and service personnel.
As Vice President of Sales, Kurt is in touch with all aspects of key accounts. He is responsible for overseeing Unity's new sales efforts and the management of all current accounts.
Gail Midlikowski, Vice President of Operations
Gail started her career with Unity in 2000. She brings over 30 years of experience in group insurance and HMO operations. Gail’s experience includes customer service, claim suspense and resolution, billing and collection, member and provider services, claim front-end processing, administration of managed care plans and business project lead on systems development.
As Vice President of Operations, Gail is responsible for Customer Relations and supporting functions, Human Resources and Information Technology services.
Radovan Bursac, Vice President of Finance
Radovan joined Unity in 2006 as Vice President of Finance. He brings over 15 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
Radovan is responsible for the Finance Department, which includes accounting, underwriting and data analysis. He also coordinates Unity's working relationships with consulting actuaries, auditors and the financial institutions with which Unity does business.
Brian Collien, Vice President of Network Development and Provider Relations
Brian came to Unity in 2002. He has spent the past 17 years in the health care industry working for both providers and health plans.
In his role at Unity, Brian is responsible for developing and maintaining the network of hospitals and physician groups that provide quality and cost effective care to our members. He also collaborates with UW Health in the development of regional programs.
Kyle Humphrey, Director of Marketing
Kyle joined Unity in 2008. He brings over 12 years of experience in the health care industry in both Marketing and Sales.
As Director of Marketing, Kyle is responsible for the development and implementation of Unity's strategic marketing plan. He also manages marketing research, branding and print and online communications.
David Diercks, General Counsel
David joined Unity as General Counsel in 2007. He brings extensive experience as a senior executive. David’s areas of experience include insurance investments and health insurance claims.
As General Counsel, David is responsible for providing advice and direction to management and staff on all legal matters affecting Unity.
Elaine Rosenblatt, MSN, FNP-BC, Director, Quality and Care Management
Elaine started at Unity as Director of Quality and Care Management in 2005. She brings over 30 years experience in the medical field as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
Elaine provides leadership in disease management, health promotion, worksite wellness and medical management. She also assists with implementing NCQA standards and improving HEDIS® measures.
In addition to her role at Unity, Elaine practices part-time at UW Health-University Station, Internal Medicine Clinic. She is also a Clinical Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Nursing.
