MADISON, Wis. – Celebrating Diversity in the Madison Area.
Next Tuesday, November 15, the Madison Area Diversity Roundtable will be hosting their 2nd Annual Celebrating Diversity Symposium. The event will be held in the Exhibition Hall at the Alliant Energy Center from 7:30am until 12:00pm and will be focused around the topic of working through and embracing generational differences in the workplace.
The Madison Area Roundtable will be hosting Seth Mattison of BridgeWorks, LLC as the keynote speaker for the event. Seth is a relative newcomer to the speaking circuit. His primary interest is in workforce trends and his generation—the Millennials. Seth’s presentations focus on creating a better understanding of the generation gaps between younger and older workers today, how to repair them, and how bridging those gaps can lead to greater creativity, productivity, and worker satisfaction.
Other event activities include a World Café/Networking session: “How can organizations create and sustain productivity and employee engagement in a multi-generational work environment?” and Panel Discussion: Why Generations Matter in the Workplace: Three Companies Share their successes, challenges, and lessons.
Both the World Café/Networking session and Panel Discussion will be facilitated by Elizabeth Churchill of Elizabeth A. Churchill Consulting, LLC. Elizabeth is a seasoned sustainability strategy consultant with experience in facilitating strategy, planning, development, and operations of sustainability in communities through the built environment.
The cost to attend the symposium is $50.00 per person. To register for the event, visit the MADR website at http://madisondiversity.org/symposium.
