Positively Impact Costs
See how managed care strategies can help you save money
Unity believes that reporting specific health care data to employers helps them to manage their health benefit program and positively impact costs. Data can suggest whether an employer should:
- Modify cost-sharing amounts
- Determine appropriate benefit eligibility policies
- Modify plan benefits and coverage levels
- Reduce fixed plan costs by streamlinging processes and use of vendors
- Implement steerage mechanisms through plan design
- Increase employee and dependent health care awareness
- Institute fitness, wellness and disease management programs
