Living Well with Chronic Conditions is a six-week workshop developed and tested by Stanford University. The skills taught in this workshop can help members deal with their conditions to lead a more productive life.

The workshop is taught by two trained leaders and meets for 2½ hours, once per week for six weeks. Visit the Greater Wisconsin Agency on Aging Resources (GWARR) website to find or request a workshop in your area, or call the Arthritis Foundation Wisconsin Chapter Information and Referral number at 800-242-9945. The workshop is open to adults 18 and older.
You can also attend the workshop online at no cost. The online workshop, Better Health, Better ChoicesTM, teaches the same skills as the in-person programs. The cost of a local workshop and book are reimbursable to a maximum of $50. Family, friends, and caregivers are welcome to attend; however, only Unity members are eligible for reimbursement.
