Health Class Reimbursement Program

Wellness First provides the opportunity for members (age 18 and over) to get reimbursed for taking community health education classes with any of Unity's participating hospitals and clinics. Unity will reimburse 50% of the class fee, up to a maximum total of $50 per calendar year, per member.

Requirements for reimbursement

Classes must be held at one of Unity’s participating hospitals and clinics and fall into one of the following categories:

• Pregnancy & Parenting
• Nutrition (e.g. eating, cooking)
• Weight Management (e.g. weight watchers, active living)
• Special Activities (e.g. yoga, pilates)
• CPR & First Aid
• Stress Management (e.g. mindfulness, meditation, acupressure)
• Tobacco Cessation

You must fill out a reimbursement form [PDF], obtain the instructor's signature, and submit the form to Unity within 3 months of the class*.

Please note: if any of the above classes lasts for more than one session, forms are due 3 months after the date of the last class. If classes are for partners, rather than single members, and both are Unity members, then one member can submit the reimbursement form.
