Unity’s prescription drug benefits provide you with effective medications to treat various health conditions. We strive to focus on the outcome the medication delivers rather than the cost. We work closely with UW Health and local physicians to determine which medications to include on the Unity Formulary.
The pharmacy program is managed in compliance with National Committee for Quality Assurance's standards representing best practices for pharmacy benefit management.
We also support the Wisconsin Pharmacy Quality Collaborative (WPQC), an independent collarborative that has established a community pharmacy quality credentialing process. WPQC has identified key “best practices” for community pharmacies. To be credentialed for quality with WPQC, a pharmacy must demonstrate that it follows all of the best practices on a consistent basis.
