Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

EDI, also known as Electronic Claims Submission, allows medical providers to automatically send and receive health care claims information. Unity supports all HIPAA-compliant electronic transactions.  EDI benefits include:

There are two ways to submit claims to Unity: Directly to Unity or through a third party clearinghouse.

Submitting Claims Directly to Unity

If you are a new trade partner and would like to submit claims directly to Unity please do the following:

Submitting Claims through a Third Party Clearinghouse

Unity accepts claims electronically through third party clearing houses.  Unity uses the following EDI vendors:

If you are a provider and would like to submit claims through a third party clearinghouse, please contact one of the above clearinghouses and complete the EDI Registration Form.
