
The updated National Asthma Guideline is now available. The new guideline shifts the focus from severity to level of control and impairment. It contains updated recommendations for managing asthma long term and for managing exacerbations using four essential components of asthma care: assessment and monitoring, patient education, control of factors contributing to asthma severity, and drug treatment.
